Another request stop on the Kyle Line for Rudy. Achanalt's single platform has ANOTHER wonderful view! The station is one of the most geographically remote with only the old station house and one other small block of apartments nearby.

Our shortest walk so far! The infrequent trains and lack of good path along the busy main road meant we only took 24 minutes between trains at Achanalt. We walked to the end of Station Road and back which still managed to see (almost) all of Achanalt
