Looking back on May 2023, Rudy enjoyed three day trips by train and visited two new stations. Along the way we caught 13 trains.

Day Trip: Saturday, 13th May 23

Rudy caught two trains this Saturday afternoon. We travellled from Gilshochill to Glasgow Queen Street and then returned to Gilshochill.

A Monday afternoon visit to Balloch station in West Dunbartonshire, West Central Scotland. We arrived at 12:02 on a train from Anniesland. We got our station selfie & some photos then went for a walk

The signs at Balloch station say "Alight here for Loch Lomond". So we did. Just a little look at the loch from the southern shore for this visit though. Our walk was along the route of the old railway that led to Balloch Pier station -there are pl

A Thursday evening visit to Cupar station in Fife, Eastern Scotland. We arrived at 16:18 on a train from Edinburgh and took some photographs before Rudy went for a walk

Our walk at Cupar took us down to the River Eden to see a bridge. Rudy's face didn't exactly come alive with enthusiasm when he learned it was a railway bridge and he was expected to pose with passing trains 😅
