Conon Bridge Railway Station
Rudy visited

Between Inverness and Dingwall, Conon Bridge was reopened in 2013 with construction taking less than three months! The design is a very short 15 metre platform less than half the length of the class 158 trains that provide most services here! The original design was cut back to open sooner to help commuters during work on a nearby road bridge. In its first full year open 18,000 passengers used the station. The old platform still visible across the single line was in use from 1911until the original Conon station closed in 1960.
