July 2024 At A Glance
Looking back on July 2024, Rudy enjoyed five day trips by train and visited four new stations. Along the way we caught 16 trains and used 11 buses — we even took two ferry trips.

Fairlie ✓
A second visit to the Largs Branch in less than ten days suggests some organising went on to focus on this route.
Nope! Just a very warm July afternoon meant we looked for somewhere that involved shade, water and a beach.
Fairlie ticked all the boxes and was a wonderful day out on the Ayrshire Coast.
