Largs Railway Station
Rudy has been on six trains to & from Largs! The first was on the 22nd of July 2024 and most recently on the 4th of December 2024.

Probably the only station in Scotland with a viking longboat. Largs is a terminus station in North Ayrshire. All trains from here run to Glasgow via Ardossan 11 miles to the south. Which is a shame as Glasgow is actually in the other direction! The reason for the convouluted journey is that the railway here was opened as an 1885 extension of the Ardossan Railway and despite it's popularity with Glaswegians visiting the seaside a more direct route was never built.
