Duke Street Station

Duke Street was opened in 1881, six years after the railway line was built by the City of Glasgow Union Railway. Electrified in 1960 the station is part of the busy North Clyde Line network. The station is indeed on Duke Street which runs through the Dennistoun area of Glasgow’s East End.

334020 leaves Duke Street station towards Springburn

Duke Street station is just over five minutes journey from Glasgow Queen Street low level platforms on trains towards Springburn.

There is level access to both platforms at the opposite end of the station from the main road. The station is unstaffed with no facilities other than waiting shelter, ticket machines and a help point.
