Rudy arrived at 13:14 on a train from Shawlands.

Pollokshields West, opened in April 1894 on the Cathcart Circle Line in Glasgow’s Southside. Pollokshields was a planned “garden suburb” with tenements to the east and villas to the west. Unusually though all the villa style housing was to be built to differing designs with no two looking exactly the same. Rudy took a walk along the tree lined avenues before finding a quiet spot in Titwood Park for his picnic.
