Strathcarron Station
Opened in 1870 by the Dingwall and Skye Railway the original station building survives, built in the same solid two-storey style as others on the Kyle line. It is now available as holiday accommodation.
The station is one of the few passing loops between Dingwall and Inverness – places that trains travelling in opposite directions can pass each other.
Strathcarron is an unstaffed station on the Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh line..
There is step-free access to both platforms and a connecting footbridge or adjacent road level crossing between platforms. There are no toilet facilities.
