One dog, one railway, one heck of an adventure!

Crookston to Mosspark: White Cart Water & Rosshall Park

White Cart Water

The White Cart Water flows through the southside of Glasgow before joining the Black Cart and entering the River Clyde opposite Clydebank.

Rudy took a walk along this section while visiting Crookston & Mosspark stations.

The White Cart is best known when it runs through Linn Park and Pollok Country Park but it has lots of other riverside walks on its way. This section on the edge of the greenbelt strip between Glasgow & Paisley doesn’t embrace the riverbank as close as some places but it’s a very nice unnamed meadow with the main path being part of National Cycle Route 7.

Rosshall Park & Gardens

Rosshall Park has a lot going on in a small area – whatever you want from a park we think you’ll find it here!
The park was opened to the public by Glasgow’s parks department in 1965. The disc golf course is a new addition but the rock garden is a category B listed building!
