Rudy didn’t have long to spend in Newcastle. We only got the chance to book the trip one day in advance arriving in the evening and leaving fairly early the next morning. That meant exploring even the closest parks was tricky.
So rather than a park walk we explored along the River Tyne and it’s bridges in the heart of the city.
For his pre-breakfast walk Rudy visited Gateshead Riverside Park – rather steep paths meant more huffing & puffing from his photographer than taking pics though!
For his overnight in Newcastle Rudy stayed at the Innside by Melia based on it being the best value for money but which turned out to be one of the nicest hotel rooms he’s ever stayed in!
