A short hop to a request stop meant finding the train guard quick to request our stop! Rudy visited Kinbrace on the 5th of June 2025 arriving at 09:22 on a train from Forsinard.

Rudy's first Request Stop Kiosk! We've been to a few stations where we had to flag down the train with an arm held out but this is the first time we've used one of the new push button kiosks. It was fairly underwhelming because it just simply worked - the kiosk display was clear so yeah, the train stopped and we got on. Still cool though! Kinbrace opened in 1874 with the Sutherland and Caithness section of the Far North Line and sees just a few hundred passengers each year.
