Looking back on March 2020, Rudy enjoyed five day trips by train and visited five new stations. Along the way we caught 18 trains.

A Monday afternoon visit to Kingsknowe station in Edinburgh, Eastern Scotland. We arrived at 12:38 on a train from Edinburgh and took some photographs before Rudy went for a walk

A Monday afternoon visit to Edinburgh Park station in Edinburgh, Eastern Scotland. We caught the 14:27 train to Haymarket after our walk - and after taking our station selfie of course!

A Wednesday morning visit to Edinburgh Gateway station in Edinburgh, Eastern Scotland. We arrived at 11:11 on a train from Edinburgh. We got our station selfie & some photos then went for a walk

Carstairs ✓
Station 59 11th March 2020

A timetable oddity meant we had half an hour to explore around Carstairs station before getting back on the exact same train service! The strictest Railway Challenge Rules wouldn't approve but for us half an hour is a proper walk - and the oddness trumps the rules :)

Rudy caught two trains this Saturday morning. We travellled from Aberdeen to Glasgow Queen Street and then from Glasgow Queen Street to Maryhill.

Rudy managed to grab a few photos at Aberdeen waiting for his last train trip before the UK covid-19 lockdown restrictions. It's a station he knows well from previous visits but today he was a little unsure of how quiet it was - usually 8000 passengers a day travel here.
