A spontaneous visit after dropping a friend off in Edinburgh meant our original adventure here was catching an Edinburgh Tram for the first time rather than a good dog walk! Rudy visited Edinburgh Gateway on the 11th of March 2020 arriving at 11:11 on a train from Edinburgh.

Edinburgh Gateway is one of the newest stations in Scotland. Opened in December 2016 it’s the closest national rail station to Edinburgh Airport and a direct interchange with the Edinburgh Trams route.

Although Rudy has been on a walk at Edinburgh Gateway we haven't written a story or edited the photos to share yet, sorry!

Edinburgh Gateway station is a railway station and interchange at Gogar in Edinburgh, Scotland, which opened on 11 December 2016. It is served by ScotRail and Edinburgh Trams, and serves both Gogar and Edinburgh Airport, to which it is connected by the tram line.
