Greenfaulds Railway Station

✓ Station Visit 249

A visit to Greenfaulds had been in our plans for a while as part of a bigger day trip but our first visit ended up a quick scout around the first part of that Big Plan. A good wee walk down to the Luggie Water nonetheless! Rudy visited Greenfaulds on the 25th of November 2024 arriving at 14:49 on a train from Glasgow Queen Street.

A relatively new station opened in 1989 to "fill a gap" on the Cumbernauld Line as the town of Cumbernauld expanded. It now sees more than 100,000 yearly passengers.
