Ardrossan Beach - In December!
A walk between Ardrossan Town and Ardrossan South Beach stations.
Rudy has been to Ardrossan Beach a few times now and we know it's a great beach for dogs to run around. Wanting to stretch his legs a bit we chose to visit the beach again on a chilly but dry December afternoon.
We chose the walk while it was dry but this is winter in Scotland — it was dry for the whole journey while we were on a cosy train but as soon as we arrived at the beach the weather decided "no!".
A very heavy drizzle blown by the wind into our faces was a little too bracing to enjoy for long and we made a quick getaway on the first train we could. Rudy didn't seem to mind anywhere near as much as his humans and I think he'd have gone further if he remembered where the cafe was.
