After a scan of menus at a choice of dog-friendly pubs & cafes we settled on The Village Inn. It was comfortable, they made Rudy feel welcome but also a safe corner to lie out in rather than stuck under a table.
They even brought him a biscuit while we waited for our food. A little longer wait than expected due to myself ordering a vegetarian option that had lain forgotten on the menu for quite some time and needed prepped from absolute basics! The effort was appreciated when the lazy option would've been to tell us to make do with my second choice. It was tasty.
