Battery Park
A walk at Fort Matilda train station.
For Rudy's walk at Fort Matilda we headed straight to Battery Park on the Firth of Clyde shore. The Gourock highland games are held here so you can guess that there are large areas of open lawn to run around on!

If you aren't too busy running around playing chases then there's also the chance to appreciate the view across Gourock Bay and the Firth of Clyde.
Battery Park has accessible paths around all it's lawn areas and there are toilets available at the Pavillion. There are also a childrens play area and a skatepark.
