Mugdock Country Park
A walk between Milngavie and Milngavie.
Milngavie is a place that Rudy often returns to but more times than not the trip is by direct bus from home. Today we caught a train so that we could begin our walk at the traditional start of the West Highland Way.
Walking along the Allander Water to Mugdock Country Park takes you past the ruins of Mugdock Castle and then into the country park proper. The visitor centre in the park serves a good soup & a roll lunch after which you can decide to walk the whole 96 miles of the West Highland Way or just head back hoem for tea.
We headed home for tea.
