Cambuskenneth & the River Forth

A walk at Stirling train station.

Rudy on a train between Glasgow Queen Street and Stirling.

Rudy's trip to Stirling started with a bit of sunshine on the train before a wee historical walk.

Heading along the River Forth he made a quick visit to Cambuskenneth to see the ruined Abbey and then he followed a friendly black labrador along (under the railway!) to the 15th Century Stirling Bridge. Almost the whole walk there was views of the Wallace Monument high on the Abbey Craig where the Scottish army camped before the Battle of Stirling Bridge.
