Cuningar Loop Woodland Park

The Clyde here is the boundary between council areas so this park is in Lanarkshire rather than Glasgow City. And it's a very good new park! There's a lovely open grass area for picnics (or running around). There's plenty of seats & benches as well to just relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Clyde Boardwalk

One of our favourite features was the boardwalk alongside the River Clyde making the riverside views accessible to all.

Active Play

A lot of planning went into making the park an active play area with an open air classroom (with the BIGGEST chair ever), there's fantastic mtb bicycle tracks, outdoor bouldering & an adventure playground as well as all paths being accessible for the infirm, wheelchair users and pram pushers.

Cuningar Woodland Park is less than ten minutes walk from Dalmarnock. There are seasonal toilet facilities but these are located at the opposite end, near the carpark.
