Gearrchoille Community Wood
A walk at Ardgay train station.
The Gearrchoille Woodland was gifted to Ardgay in 2002 but has a longer history of community use than that. The village' old curling pond was here and in long gone days it was used as an overnight stop for drovers.
There's now an all-abilities to a picnic area as well as these rougher paths closer to the train station that were better suited for Rudy's lunchtime picnic walk.
