Invergowrie southbound platform has a gate that opens right into woodland on the Firth of Tay.
There's not much here except some reed beds, a couple old boat sheds and plenty peace and quiet
to sit and enjoy a picnic looking out across the mud flats of the Inner Tay Estuary Local Nature Reserve.
Our second visit here but maybe it should be a favourite break-of-journey for our lazy summer days travel between Aberdeen and Glasgow.
Way back in September 2021 we spent an afternoon at Invergowrie and said we'd be back. We do get around to returning to some of the places we liked!
