Rudy visited Whitecraigs on
Wednesday, 22nd June 2022
and caught the 15:28 train to Glasgow Central

Whitecraigs Station

Whitecraigs is on the Neilston Branch of the Cathcart Circle lines in the south Glasgow suburbs between Giffnock and Newton Mearns.

Opened in 1903 and sometimes shown as *Whitecraigs for Rouken Glen” due to being next to a side entrance to the park.

Whitecraigs is 20 minutes from Glasgow Central on trains heading to Neilston.

The station opening hours say it is staffed from 7am until lunchtime but has no toilet facilities. Step-free access is separately available to both platforms from outside the station.
