Station 19, Larbert, is on the line between Glasgow and Stirling but lies within the Falkirk council area. The station was opened in 1848 by the Scottish Central Railway. Rudy took a walk down "the brae" towards Stenhousemuir before setting off to find the River Carron. The paths were good but a silly fence blocked the last hundred yards to the river and then the heavy rain started! Lucky he always takes a towel to dry off on adventures!
