Rudy caught the 12:59 departure to Glasgow Central.

Kings Park Station

Kings Park is in the southside of Glasgow and the station was opened in 1928 by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway. One of the closest stations to Hampden Park it was used as a terminus for “football specials” during the 1960s.

Rudy arrived early for his train home at Kings Park and ended up having a late lunch kibble bowl and sitting through the beginning of the sunset.

Kings Park is twenty minutes from Glasgow Central on trains towards Newton. The island platform is entered from the east by stairs down from Kingsbridge Drive or at the west by stairs up from an underpass – there is no step-free access. There is a part-time ticket office on the platform.
