Cardross Station

Cardross Railway Station
334026 departs Cardross towards Glasgow & Edinburgh.

Opened in 1858 by the Glasgow, Dumbarton and Helensburgh Railway the original station building still stands on the northern (Glasgow bound) platform at Cardross. The single storey building may appear shorter than it actually is due to the platforms having been raised to modern levels.

Cardross is just less than 45 minutes from Glasgow Queen Street on trains towards Helensburgh Central.

The station is staffed on weekday mornings only but no passenger toilets are available. There is ramp access to both platforms with a level crossing providing a step free connection between them.
