Rudy's Railway Adventures

One dog, one railway, one heck of an adventure!

Station 60

Rudy caught the 08:51 train to Glasgow Queen Street.

Rudy managed to grab a couple of photos at Aberdeen station waiting for his last train trip before UK lockdown. A little unsure of how quiet it was as usually 8000 passengers a day travel here.

The station here opened in 1867 as “Aberdeen Joint Station”. It was rebuilt in 1913-1916 and renamed simply Aberdeen in 1952. Since the late 2000s it’s been integrated (along with the bus station) into Union Square shopping mall.
