One dog, one railway, one heck of an adventure!

Garrowhill: Early Braes Park

Rudy at Early Braes Park.

Early Braes Park in the Garrowhill area of Glasgow is a little park with a small network of paths through wooded and open sections. It’s right across the road from Garrowhill station.

The Tollcross Burn runs through the park which has recently been adapted as part of flood control measures. This meant a general upgrading of the park paths & access and at the same time improving biodiversity.

Early Braes Park is 10 hectares of mostly grass & plantation woodland. The paths have been recently improved and well surfaced. The boundary fences are “fairly good” in most places but entrance/exit paths are open onto surrounding roads.
