Once Upon A Time…
It really all began in May 2017, All The Stations epic adventure had just started and by coincidence Rudy was taking his first ever train trip. By August, Vicki & Geoff had completed all 2,563 stations while Rudy had travelled between Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, checking off about eighteen stations along the way.
I’ve always loved travelling by train and was thrilled that Rudy seemed to enjoy the journeys too. He very clearly enjoys visiting new places that the railway takes us to whether it’s to run around a new park, follow a different path, or just investigate interesting smells away from his home walks! So we started taking more daytrips by train and our list of visited stations got longer until I started to realise that maybe everywhere was worth getting off the train and exploring!
So that became my plan, our challenge, – to take this wonderful little dog for a walk at every train station in Scotland. To the trains, to adventures!
