The Lakes Railway Station

The Lakes station is in the West Midlands region of England. Rudy is focussing on mostly Scottish Stations to visit but if we ever run out of those then who knows where we'll end up going!

The Lakes is a railway station located on the North Warwickshire Line in the north of Stratford-on-Avon District in Warwickshire, England. The nearest settlement is the village of Earlswood.

Opened by the Great Western Railway as The Lakes Halt on 3 June 1935. The station was built to serve the nearby Earlswood Lakes, which were a popular destination for daytrippers. As it was only designed to cater for local traffic, it was built with relatively short platforms, being only 130 feet (40 m) long.
