Shawlands is on the Cathcart Circle in Glasgow’s Southside. Opened in 1894 and electrified in 1962 trains in both directions from here end up back at Glasgow Central! Shawlands was incorporated into Glasgow in 1819 and quickly became one of the most important “town centres” in the southside. Rudy took a walk along Pollokshaws Road before some sunbathing on the station platform waiting for his next train.
