Rudy has been on four trains to & from Queens Park! The first was on the 2nd of March 2019 and most recently on the 10th of December 2023.
A subsurface station in Glasgow's southside opened in 1886 with the first part of the Cathcart District Railway. The station building survives and is now category B-listed. The island platform originally stretched the full length between Victoria Road and Niddrie Road as a compromise against an original idea of having separate stations! That last photo of Rudy soaking wet next to an empty bottle someone left behind the night before is two reasons why we don't often adventure on Sundays in December!
