✓ Station Visit 256

A visit to Motherwell on Mother's Day because that's the sort of thing that makes us cool. Rudy has been on four trains to & from Motherwell! The first was on the 11th of March 2022 and most recently on the 30th of March 2025.

256 Motherwell ✅ Motherwell was the core of Scotland's steel industry from the 1930s onwards until the vast Ravenscraig works closed in 1992. The recently renovated Motherwell railway station dates from the 1970s but was built on the same site as the previous 1885 station. It lies on both the West Coast Main Line to London and also the Hamilton Circle line to, erm, Hamilton. The station has a Greggs. Rudy shared a pizza slice.

Although Rudy has been on a walk at Motherwell we haven't written a story or edited the photos to share yet, sorry!
