Rain in the West of Scotland sent us East to suburban Edinburgh. Rudy visited Kingsknowe on the 2nd of March 2020 arriving at 12:38 on a train from Edinburgh.

Kingsknowe is a south-western suburb of Edinburgh and it’s train station was originally opened by the Caledonian Railway in 1848. There’s no footbridge here with access to opposite platforms being via the level crossing.

Kingsknowe railway station is a railway station serving Kingsknowe in the Scottish city of Edinburgh. It is located on the Shotts Line from Glasgow Central to Edinburgh Waverley via Shotts. The station has two platforms, connected by a level crossing, and CCTV. It is managed by ScotRail.
