Jordanhill Railway Station
For such a close-to-home station it's daft that it took two attempts to get here. Disruption doesn't catch us often but second time lucky it was! Rudy visited

Opened in 1887 by the Glasgow, Yoker and Clydebank Railway company, Jordanhill station sits on the southern side of a triangle junction in Glasgow's west end. This site means ideas for moving & rebuilding are put forward fairly regularly but here it has remained for 130 years. The station made international news in 2006 when it was celebrated as the one millionth article on the English language Wikipedia! There is a simple plaque on platform 1 noting it's place in internet history.
