Heald Green Railway Station

Heald Green station is in the North West region of England. Rudy is focussing on mostly Scottish Stations to visit but if we ever run out of those then who knows where we'll end up going!

Heald Green railway station serves the suburb of Heald Green in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England.

The station is on the Styal line, opened in 1909 by the London & North Western Railway, between Slade Lane Junction (north of Mauldeth Road) and Wilmslow. To the south of the station is Heald Green Junction, a triangular junction for the branch to Manchester Airport.

This two-platform station is used by Northern Trains; there are regular services to Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport, with some services continuing to Wilmslow and Crewe.
