Furness Vale Railway Station

Furness Vale station is in the East Midlands region of England. Rudy is focussing on mostly Scottish Stations to visit but if we ever run out of those then who knows where we'll end up going!

Furness Vale railway station in Derbyshire, England, is 15+1⁄4 miles (24.5 km) south east of Manchester Piccadilly on the Manchester to Buxton line and serves the village of Furness Vale. It has a level crossing at the end of the platform controlled by a signal box.

The station is on the Stockport, Disley and Whaley Bridge Railway line, originally built by the London and North Western Railway to connect with the Cromford and High Peak Railway and now extended to Buxton on the Buxton Line in 1863.
