Furness Vale Railway Station

Rudy hasn't been to Furness Vale station and it's not included in our "All The Scottish Stations" challenge list because it's in East_midlands!

Furness Vale railway station in Derbyshire, England, is 15+1⁄4 miles (24.5 km) south east of Manchester Piccadilly on the Manchester to Buxton line and serves the village of Furness Vale. It has a level crossing at the end of the platform controlled by a signal box.

The station is on the Stockport, Disley and Whaley Bridge Railway line, originally built by the London and North Western Railway to connect with the Cromford and High Peak Railway and now extended to Buxton on the Buxton Line in 1863.
