East Linton Railway Station
Rudy visited

A first-day visit to East Linton on it's reopening after sixty years closed! The station is in East Lothian and lies on the busy East Coast Mainline. "Linton" was one of the original stations when the line here was opened in 1846 by the North British Railway - it was renamed in 1864. This new station is a little further west than the original site, the old Station House and buildings are still there a short walk along to a footbridge across the railway. Rudy visited East Linton on the 13th of December 2023 catching the first passenger train in sixty years to stop at the station!!
