Brimsdown Railway Station

Brimsdown station is in the London region of England. Rudy is focussing on mostly Scottish Stations to visit but if we ever run out of those then who knows where we'll end up going!

Brimsdown railway station is on the West Anglia Main Line, serving the neighbourhood of Brimsdown in the London Borough of Enfield, north London. It is 10 miles 61 chains (17.3 km) down the line from Liverpool Street and is situated between Ponders End and Enfield Lock. Its three-letter station code is BMD and it is in Travelcard zone 5.

The station and all trains serving it are operated by Greater Anglia.

Brimsdown station was used in 1951 as a location for part of the Alexander Mackendrick film The Man in the White Suit, starring Alec Guinness, as the station where Sidney Stratton tries to buy a ticket near the end of the film.
