Aberdeen Railway Station
Rudy managed to grab a few photos at Aberdeen waiting for his last train trip before the UK covid-19 lockdown restrictions. It's a station he knows well from previous visits but today he was a little unsure of how quiet it was - usually 8000 passengers a day travel here. Rudy has been on ninety-five trains to & from Aberdeen! The first was on the 18th of May 2017 and most recently on the 5th of February 2025.
Rudy managed to grab a couple of photos at Aberdeen station waiting for his last train trip before UK lockdown. A little unsure of how quiet it was as usually 8000 passengers a day travel here. The station here opened in 1867 as “Aberdeen Joint Station”. It was rebuilt in 1913-1916 and renamed simply Aberdeen in 1952. Since the late 2000s it’s been integrated (along with the bus station) into Union Square shopping mall.
