Rudy's Railway Adventures

One dog, one railway, one heck of an adventure!

Prestwick International Airport

Station 33

Sunday 23rd June 2019
Arrived at 16:12 on a train from Glasgow Central.

Prestwick International Airport is an odd one. Built in 1994 and still operated by the airport itself rather than ScotRail or Network Rail it has its own branding – it’s also the only station in Scotland directly connected to an airport. Rudy wasn’t a fan though – after watching people struggle with huge suitcases and empty Mediterranean sand out of their shoes, he left in search of a beach himself spending less time here than even Elvis Presley did!
